Rev Jeongsook Kim
I am from South Korea and came to the UK to study further in Nottingham (MA in Mission and Ministry) in 2000.
While attending a local Methodist church I came to know about the great shortage of ministers.
One of my friends who is a member of that church encouraged me to consult with the chair of the Nottingham and Derby District in 2001.
Following his advice I met the Chair, who, after consulting me about my theological background and training, advised me to be ordained in S. Korea and apply for a job here. So I did and was accepted and came back to the UK in 2006 as a Methodist Minister.
I play golf on my days off and like walking, locally and on holiday, singing, listening to music and watching films.
For me as a minister, I prioritize leading worship, doing pastoral care and making disciples.
